Ban on outdoor use of imidacloprid, clothianidin and thiamethoxam to come into force by end of 2018

A vote by the EU means a ban on outdoor use of neonicotinoids is expected to come into force by the end of 2018 and will mean the insecticides, linked to damaging bee health, can only be used in closed greenhouses.
