BALI Yorkshire and North East members scoop Premier Gold at Harrogate Spring Flower Show

BALI members from the association's Yorkshire and North East Region have won the highest accolade at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show.

The garden they created – A vision of modern serenity – was designed by Belinda Belt of BALI contractor Greenbelt Landscapes and was one of only three winners of a Premier Gold award.

Co-ordinated by BALI’s sponsorship officer, Diane McCulloch, the winning team of five BALI contractors and six BALI affiliate members are mainly based in the Yorkshire and North East region of the country.

Each member donated staff resource and materials to showcase the professional excellence of BALI contracting members and the quality of supplier members’ products.
BALI chief operations officer Wayne Grills said: "Visiting the Harrogate Show yesterday and seeing the BALI Yorkshire and North East garden really highlighted for me what it means to be a BALI member.

"As the BALI team has so aptly demonstrated, nothing but excellence will do, whether it’s in design, construction or the materials they supply, and that’s what being a BALI member is about."
The BALI design and construction team consisted of:

  • Belinda Belt (designer) and Greenbelt Landscapes
  • DTMS Group
  • Country Gardens
  • Sustain Landscapes
  • Greenspace Solutions UK

Plants and materials were supplied by:

  • Johnsons of Whixley
  • FTS Aquatics
  • Green-tech
  • Natural Paving Products
  • Johnsons Wellfield
  • Barry Cooper Glass Design
