BALI members will be offered support during AGM on Basingstoke Canal

British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) members in the South Thames region will meet for an AGM on the Basingstoke Canal next week.

BALI South Thames regional chairman Nick Coslett, sales and marketing director of Palmstead Nurseries, said the aim was to have a range of meetings that would interest the spectrum of membership.

"2008 has seen a challenging year for our members and 2009 will be even more so," said Nick Coslett.

"Don't forget your BALI colleagues in the region are always at the end of a phone or ready to provide advice and support at regional events."

Newly-elected chairman Richard Gardiner - a South Thames regional member - will be accompanied by BALI chief executive Sandra Loton-Jones for the AGM on 8 April.

The event, which takes place on board a 72ft narrow boat, is a chance for landscape colleagues to share information on developments in the industry, including sustainable working.

BALI South Thames is planning a trip to the Chelsea Physic Garden on 22 July.
