BALI appoints technical officer to advise members

BALI has established the new role of technical officer, appointing Jonathan Tame BSc (Hons), who is now providing members with technical advice and support ‘on demand’.
He was landscape manager on the Transport for London highways contract where he was responsible for the landscape maintenance of London’s arterial road network.

Tame has also worked on many local authority, commercial and domestic landscape, and civil engineering contracts throughout the Midlands and the North of England.

He will ensure that BALI members are kept informed of industry-related government policy and initiatives and relevant changes to legislation. He will represent BALI on industry working groups and actively promote and encourage cross-industry collaboration where this benefits BALI’s wider membership.

His other responsibilities will include providing technical articles on landscaping and grounds maintenance subjects for industry journals.
