Awards galore at IoG Scotsturf

Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC groundsman Tommy Cummings was crowned IoG Scottish Football Groundsman of the Year at IoG Scotsturf 2010, held in Edinburgh.

Prizes for new and innovative products were awarded to Fife-based Double A Trading Company for its Timberwolf 350 turntable chipper in the large machinery category and South-Lanarkshire based Bryson Tractors scooped the best small and medium machinery award for the Graden Sand Injection with Bents Seeder.

Winner of the fertiliser and pesticides category was Vitax for the Enhance R range of fertilisers, distributed by Terra Firma. Rigby Taylor won the consumables and sundries category for its Impact Gold Ready to Use Marking Paints.

Best stand prizes were also handed out, with Hayter and Toro taking the Andrew Murray Cup for the best stand of 64sq m or more.
