Association of Professional Landscapers Awards 2012 - THE WINNERS

London based landscaping company The Garden Builders was named the supreme winner at yesterday's Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) Awards 2012 for their creation of a stunning suburban north London garden.

The awards which were held at London’s Kensington Roof Gardens, and sponsored by Bradstone, recognise the best in landscaping undertaken by APL members.

The judges were Mark Gregory (APL Chairman and Chair of Judges), James Steele-Sargent (Arun Landscapes), Adam Frost (Adam Frost Designs), Jo Thompson, (Jo Thompson Designs), Juliet Roberts (Gardens Illustrated magazine), and Jason Lock, (DeakinLock Garden Design).

The Winners

Winner – Supreme Winner, Project value over £100,000

The Garden Builders won both the Project value over £100,000, and was named Supreme Winner for creating a stunning suburban north London garden incorporating a traditional planting scheme with contemporary design twists.

 

The garden was designed by Lynne Marcus Garden Design. The judges said the garden; "oozes quality" and is a "well executed and well thought through scheme, beautifully presented and supported by strong design."
