Association of Professional Landscapers to appoint web designer this week

The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) is to appoint a web design firm this week to revamp its website.

Once the firm is on board the work should take 12-14 weeks to complete, said Association of Professional Landscapers chief executive Jason Lock.

"We are about ready to press the green button and once we do we'll release a few snapshots of what the design might look like," explained Jason Lock.

The plan is to make the APL website more interactive with forums and blogs.

"It is quite a difficult brief because it has to appeal to the consumer, existing members and new members," he added. "It is the biggest thing we will be doing this year."
