A tree surgery business and arboricultural consultancy has launched a purpose built training centre in the West Midlands, addressing what it sees as an unmet need for training in the tree and landscape industries.

Lying in a picturesque rural estate between Stafford and Market Drayton, The Environmental Training Centre features purpose-built classrooms, workshop, indoor training tree and hard and softwood plantations on site.

It will deliver arboricultural training by highly experienced trainers with courses covering tree climbing and aerial rescue, chainsaw maintenance, felling and cross cutting, pesticides, rigging, CPD and refresher courses.

Rob Keyzor, director of Rob Keyzor Tree Surgeons and Arboricultural Consultants, said: "There has been a gap in the arboricultural industry for high quality training for some time now and we aim to fill that gap by providing arboricultural courses and forestry and land-based training to the highest standard through our exceptional facilities."

The centre will be officially launched at the APF show later this week.
