Apple brand adds PinKids

A smaller child-friendly version of Pink Lady apples will be launched across Europe under the name PinKids at the end of January.

The new brand will be marketed in partnership with Disney over the next three years and will be sold on branded trays. Pink Lady, a brand name of the Cripps Pink variety, already has eight per cent of the UK apple market. They are grown chiefly in Italy and are promoted in the UK by Coregeo, which is also responsible for the Tenderstem broccoli brand.
