Titchmarsh also wants products for his daytime ITV chatshow, the Alan Titchmarsh Show.

Researcher Thea Pitcher said:

"I am looking for anything that is interesting to viewers and depending on what's on the market, we may tailor what sort of gardening item we create.

"If there's not much response, I shall start theming the gardening part of the programme and will contact suppliers with a view to promoting products which relate to the theme.

"Generally though I am looking for new or exciting products - innovative and demonstratable on TV."
