Agrovista UK and Openfield form partnership

Crop protection, agronomy and amenity firm Agrovista UK has formed a strategic alliance with the farmer-owned grain market and arable input business Openfield.

This development will bring together the seed supply, fertiliser and end-market experience of Openfield with the agronomic expertise of Agrovista.

Openfield group managing director Tim Davies said: "This tie-up will give our customers access to the latest technology, product innovation and technical advice on offer from a major industry player and allow us to develop an independent route to market for UK growers."

Agrovista managing director James Robertson added: "The synergies that a joint partnership provides will bring widespread impartial advice and product benefits to our farmers, members and customers."
