A-Plant launches £100,000 insurance package

Hire firm A-Plant has launched a new insurance package to protect customers against loss or damage for up to £100,000 of equipment in any one incident.

The company has teamed up with HAE (Hire Association Europe) Insurance Services to offer A-Guard Insurance, which can be used to cover equipment for 15% of the hire rate.

The move is designed to make arranging insurance easier for A-Plant customers, who in the past had to use a third party.

A-Guard Insurance is offered through specialist HSB Engineering Insurance and covers equipment while on hire from A-Plant.

The policy covers loss or damage to equipment anywhere in the UK, including during transit, for up to £100,000 for any one incident and with no single limit.
