Zenoah Komatsu G621AVS-20

The G621AVS-20 is the top-of-the-range Zenoah saw and is intended for heavy-duty professional power.

It has an adjustable, automatic oiling system and a 62cc engine.
Like all Zenoah saws, this one has been developed for lightness. It weighs 5.5kg, not bad for a 62cc unit, and the balance is good. Specifications do not state the power output. Our testers reckon it could do with more power to match the long 20cm bar.
The controls are well positioned and work positively. The saw is easy to fuel and start. It cuts neatly but is too slow for our foresters. “It would probably be okay for work in the garden or logging for firewood,” says one.
The G621ATV has a five-point vibration damper, but it developed vibration levels that were a problem for our testers and weren’t solved by adjustments made in the field.
