Wyevale Garden Centres to develop housing at Beaconsfield site

Wyevale Garden Centre in Beaconsfield is proposing to build a development of new houses on empty land next to the car park.

Building on the site, which is currently accessed through the garden centre’s car park on Butlers Court Road, will not affect the running of the garden centre or minimise the number of parking spaces, a letter sent to residents said.

Two emails in response to the plans were sent to the planning consultants, Gregory Gray Associates after residents were notified.

Wyevale is believed to have at least four garden centres under offer. The chain has bought Wych Cross and re-opened Cardiff in the last month.

Until January the 151-centre's focus is on relaunching its website as a transactional platform.
