Wyevale Garden Centres appoints former Frosts sales director as head of garden

Wyevale Garden Centres has appointed Caroline Linger as head of garden.

She will lead garden categories including garden furniture, "with a remit to strengthen WGC’s customer offer through new and innovative products".

She was at The Co-operative Pharmacy and has worked at Argos, Dunelm, Halfords, and was sales director at Frosts Garden Centres from 2005-09.

On her Linkedin page, Linger said her role is "responsible for defining and driving the strategy for the garden division. This includes leading the trading team to deliver the operating plan targets and long term financial plan."

Trading director Dan Zinner said: "It is my pleasure to welcome Caroline to our trading team. As a proven retail professional with experience at a number of top retailers as well as garden centre experience, she will add buying and supply chain strength to play a key role in enhancing our customer offer."
