Work is progressing rapidly, according to the company, with landscapers working hard on the groundworks, despite the freezing weather.

The excavations and sub-bases are now complete, the larch retaining wall is in place and ducts for lighting cables have been laid.

The outdoor fireplace and chimney have now been constructed and the team are currently busy laying the paving for the lounge area, using Dijon Outdoor Flag paving, an Egyptian tumbled limestone in a soft neutral colour, chosen from the Mandarin Stone range.

A spokeswoman said: "The Etoile Showcase Garden aims to be a bold statement of not only our quality in landscape design and construction, but also our ability to be at the forefront of contemporary trends in modern domestic design."

The company has been Tweeting progress, complete with jokes about how many spirit levels the team are using.
