Engineering development has helped to keep the Terra Spike SL to just 470kg, even though the aerator is 1.4m wide. It is suited to compact tractors from 20hp with 600kg lift capacity and has a light footprint to work on greens and tees.

In keeping with other Terra Spikes, the new SL features much of Wiedenmann's patented technology including VibraStop to prevent vibration travelling to the operator or tractor, QuickSet to enable tool-free adjustment of depth as well as heave and QuickChange one-screw head exchange. It also features TwinDrive where the crankshaft is powered from two symmetrical sides and impact is absorbed by the V-ribbed belt on either side.
