Wiedenmann bringing its widest-ever product to Saltex

Wiedenmann UK is bringing its new foldable 4.6m Terra Rake to its trade stand at Saltex this November.

The Terra Rake has been re-engineered giving show visitors the first opportunity to see how the 4.6m wing span doubles both output and width.

Integral to the new design is a folding frame, meaning two separate same-sized units (either 1.6m or 2.1m), can be transported together and ‘joined’ when in work mode. The folding mechanism is operated hydraulically from within the cab.

Alongside will be a new 1.7m electric trailed draw bar option of the Terra Rake with electric wheels and no need for linkage attachment. It features a four row configuration of tines and is ideal for working in more confined areas where power units have easier access.

Two new options have also been introduced for the Mega Twister - an easily-attached goose neck spout so the wind nozzle can be set parallel to the floor, and an electrical operation to the nozzle. This new facility allows tractors with just one double spool valve to operate the "left to right" swivel action hydraulically and the "up and down" motion via an electric ram.

The two new accessories to the Wiedenmann blower range means users can also direct the outlet spout to different angles depending on the conditions, particularly on undulating ground.

Wiedenmann UK’s stand will also feature two Terra Spikes - the XD8 and the Gxi8 –plus the capacious Super 600 3-1 mower/collector / sweeper.
