Wessex ProLine RMX

With roller mowers becoming more popular for the sports turf, local authority and amenity contractor markets, Broadwood International has developed the Wessex ProLine RMX, which includes the flagship RMX360 model.

A key advantage over cylinder mowers is the simple replacement of worn blade tips compared to regrinding and setting of cylinders.

This mower has a 3.6m working width to cover the ground quickly and, as with other models in the range, has a fast tip speed of 96m/s to give a quality finish. In trials, the 2.4m RMX240 cut a full-sized soccer pitch in 12 minutes.

Road, gateway and access points are negotiated by folding the side wings to reduce the overall width of the RMX360 to 2.4m. Cutting height is adjustable on the full-width front and rear rollers, from 100mm down to 10mm.

There are versions with cutting widths of 1.8m and 3m.
