The Flintshire firm operated in utility and amenity arboriculture as well as grounds maintenance and facilities management, and was one of several regional contractors for Scottish Power Energy Networks.

Staff were this week told: "The company had suffered trading losses over the past two years and although various funding and restructuring options had been explored, the majority shareholder directors, Gerry and Paula Jewson, decided that they had no alternative other than to place the company into administration."

Leonard Curtis Business Rescue and Recovery will shortly be appointed administrators.
