VegTrug appoints 'design guru'

VegTrug, the original, self contained, raised vegetable garden company has taken the first step in realising its plan to launch its global design centre - to be based at its UK headquarters in Colchester - with the appointment of Hayley Moisley as its new 'design guru'.

She will also work with chief executive officer Joe Denham to put in place a product development investment plan which will spearhead the Takasho Group’s global design plans.

Denham said: "We are planning the launch of an ‘Innovation and Design Centre of Excellence’ which will be the focus of the Group world-wide design strategy.   Hayley has been brought in to contribute "a young and fresh approach" and VegTrug is very excited to see her product ideas coming to fruition over the coming months and years."

Moisley said: "This is undoubtedly my dream job.  I have always enjoyed designing and refining new products and have been working for myself based in London doing just that.  To secure this position with such a fantastic job title as Design Guru is brilliant and I’m relishing the opportunity to put my design skills to work as part of a worldwide commercial plan."

VegTrug has recently opened a wholly-owned subsidiary in the USA, "following a year of record sales in the UK".
