Pershore commercial and resources manager John Farmer said: "We are extremely pleased to partner with VRH on this project at Pershore College. It gives our students and staff an insight into the industry and first-hand experience of commercial Primrose varieties and knowledge of seed production and plant breeding.

Breeder Howard Lupton said: "For us it’s the perfect venue, ideally centrally situated with excellent facilities, it’s a pleasure to have so many students passing through the display as well as many of the leading growers and retailers of the UK."

On display in a range of pot sizes, packs and containers will be over 50 individual varieties, added value lines like Clotted Cream and Appleblossom along with new series Spring Supreme and Spring Titan, there will be unique lines like Frosty Morn and Ember Glow plus the new Blueberry Ice and Strawberry Ice and varieties like Olde English, Lovely Laced, Pinky & Perky and Marshmallow some of the range destined for volume pack or pot production.

On top of that there will be experimental lines with potential for future sales.
