Turquoise was chosen as the year's key colour as according to the Pantone Colour Institute it is a universally positive colour with tropical connotations.
The FPA is recommending flowers like green carnations, chrysanthemums and blue hydrangeas, all of which it says, can be presented in turquoise containers.
