Turf-care products in line for first ever WhatKit? Product of the Year Awards prize

Thirty turf-care products have made it to the long list for the very first WhatKit? Product of the Year Awards, launched today by Horticulture Week and kit comparison website WhatKit.co.uk.

The new product awards scheme has been launched to celebrate the very best in professional kit and machinery for turf, grounds, arboriculture and landscape professionals - and to encourage further development and excellence within the sector.

The awards are a natural extension of HW's long-standing commitment to reporting on the very latest developments in the kit and machinery world. This includes HW's unique industry Kit Tests run by HW technical editor and kit expert Sally Drury with the generous help of her team of professional testers.

The 30 turf-care products are long listed for the What Kit? Turf Care Product of the Year 2015. A shortlist will be drawn up over the next few weeks before a winner is chosen by Drury and her independent panel. The winner will be announced in January.

Our next two categories will be the WhatKit? Outdoor Power Tool of the Year and WhatKit? Mower of the Year. If you have products you wish to be considered for these, please email Sally at sally.drury@haymarket.com.

For details of the long listed products (also published on p19 of the WhatKit? Update Supplement published today with HW magazine) see below.
