Trentham Estate picks up awards

The Trentham Estate has won four awards at Signal FM's Staffordshire & Cheshire Style Awards.

The 304ha estate in Stoke-on-Trent, which is currently undergoing a £100m regeneration, scooped awards in all the categories in which it was nominated. The categories were: Coffee Culture Award; Retail Award; Inspirational Landmark Award; and Visitor Attraction Award.

The award ceremony was held on 24 July at Crewe Hall. Trentham Estate events manager Steve Hamilton said: "Just to be nominated in four categories was an achievement in itself, but to go on and win them is phenomenal.

"It is a recognition of the quality and excellence we provide at the Trentham Estate, and why we hold such an appeal as a day out for people in Staffordshire and neighbouring Cheshire."

Work is set to begin next month on a new Garden Tea Room and major improvements to the landscape on the Western Pleasure Garden and park.
