The contract includes recording tree information onto Treework's tree management software (MyTrees), enabling the housing association to proactively manage tree-related risk and nuisance.

The company's principal arboricultural planning consultant, Matt Searle, said: "I am delighted that, in this competitive tender process, our bid was selected for both our high quality and cost effective offer.

"This contract builds on our excellent relationships with housing associations across the UK, developed through regular review and dialogue with our clients."

Aldwyck's group area manager Linda Footer said: "Aldwyck's key objective was to ensure that our trees are proactively managed and a core requirement of our tender process was to provide value to our customers.

"Treework's extensive experience of delivering tree surveys and management services to housing associations, as well as their technology and commitment to customer support provided us with the confidence to make this important appointment.

"From the start Treework Environmental Practice demonstrated a clear understanding of our objectives and presented methods and systems to support us to meet our objectives. Since commencing the contract they have added value where possible, such as provision of their MyTrees Tree Management Software."
