Treadstone goes to Glee with Peter Rabbit

Treadstone Products came from the management buyout of Tenax UK in 2012 and is returning to Glee with an range of branded gardening accessories, including The Good Life, Laura Ashley and a children's range from Peter Rabbit.

Treadstone Products offers over 500 consumer products ranging from gift sets, wellingtons, baskets and umbrellas to core gardening products such as cloches, frost protection, plant ties and stakes, netting and weed suppression, supplying garden centre chains and independents.

UK head of garden retail Matt Thompson said: "Glee 2015 is a major opportunity for Treadstone Products to 'return to the main stage' in terms of supplying UK garden retail. We will be unveiling a whole new collection under the Laura Ashley brand, which is unique to Treadstone. Meanwhile our commitment to marketing a branded core gardening range in the form of The Good Life is, I believe, an equally exciting and novel proposition for the garden sector."

He added: "Our new approach to the garden market is all about supplying strong British brands which consumers warm towards with full marketing support. Moreover we will be applying this combination even to areas of the where a branded approach is rare. All three of the Treadstone Products brands are comprehensive, fully researched, and well presented, with availability, efficient delivery and low risk entry for retailers. I believe we offer a refreshing new opportunity for garden retailers with some really high profile consumer recognition from the outset."
