Town & Country looks ahead to festival season

New for this spring/summer season is Town & Country's collection of macs and wellington boots.

The company says the range has "huge sales potential" ahead of the festival season.

Its macs range comprises three styles - Clear Fitted Mac with navy or raspberry trim, Clear Mac with Polka-Dots (navy or raspberry) and plain Clear Mac – all available in small, medium and large sizes (£29.99 to £39.99).  The Polka-dot PVC wellingtons (sizes 4-8) in navy and raspberry to match the trims and spots on the macs, make up the collection (£29.99)

The products have a free stand and mannequin with each deal ordered.

Meanwhile, based on the sales figures received to date, Town & Country has calculated that the number of its gardening gloves sold on Garden Re-Leaf Day has risen to more than 6,000 pairs.  Having pledged to donate 25p for each pair sold on the day to Greenfingers - that means £1,500 has so far been raised for the charity. With some garden centres still to submit their sales figures, Town & Country is confident of increasing the total money raised significantly.

Chief executive Barry Page said: "Looking at the sales figures we have had so far, we are estimating that the total number of gloves sold on Garden Re-Leaf Day will be in the region of 10,000 pairs.  So we are encouraging those garden centres who haven’t already done so, to submit their Town & Country gloves sales for Friday 27 March to, and help boost the donation to the wonderful Greenfingers Charity."
