The new flail has been designed to give a high-productivity machine for difficult areas such as dense, overgrown vegetation and hillsides. But according to Hayter, the machines could also be used in fine turf applications.
The 36-inch cutting width is achieved from 24 independent flail blades and there is a single-point height-of-cut adjustment from 12mm to 140mm.
An optional Tru Trak sulky kit enables the operator to ride behind the machine and the power unit can be used with rotary deck options to increase versatility.
With a 32-inch cutting width, the new rear-discharge rotary deck is compact and can access and mow within confined areas. An optional narrow-wheel kit reduces overall width to 33 inches (84cm) to simplify access to sites restricted by gate posts or bollards.
