Top world pole climbers to battle it out at APF

The Husqvarna World 25m Pole Climbing Championships will take place at APF 2016, the forestry, woodland, trees and timber show at Ragley Estate, Alcester, Warwickshire on 15-17 September, with a record prize fund of £3,000 cash and £3,000 of Husqvarna goods up for grabs.

Fifty of the world's top climbers will compete for the coveted trophy, with 2014 world champion Patrick Hayes seeking to defend his crown against world holder and 2012 champion Grant Gallier.

There are separate classes for Expert, Tree Surgeon, Ladies and Veterans. Entry forms and competition rules for the pole climbing and also chainsaw carving competitions are available on the APF website.
