Tom Davis of Stagecraft dies aged 66

Stagecraft Display have announced the sudden death of Tom Davis, chairman, on Saturday 27 September. .

He started Stagecraft 30 years ago at his farm in mid-Wales and over time has built the company to become the leading UK designer and manufacturer of bespoke display tables and fixtures to the garden centre market. 

In 2013 he moved the company to a larger, modern manufacturing unit in tandem with a management change. Sebastian Smith joined the business as its new managing director in September 2013 and Davis became its chairman.

Managing director Sebastian Smith said: "I am sure you will join with me in offering our sincere condolences to the family at this most difficult time.

 "We thank all customers and suppliers for their past support and assure them of our commitment to continue driving Stagecraft forward. Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him."

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday 7 October, 2.00 pm at St Aelhairn’s Church, Ardleen Road, Guilsfield, to which all are invited.
