The topics are: green chemistry, hydroponic cultivation and phenotyping. The programme of the symposia consists of subject specific lectures and presentations by professionals from the exhibiting companies of Seed meets Technology. All events take place at the grounds of Proeftuin Zwaagdijk, the Netherlands. Each day after the lectures, lecturers are available to answer questions and discuss presented techniques and products.
On September 22, The symposium ‘Green chemistry to enhance seeds’ is organized by Incotec. During the event Rob Baas, senior researcher at Incotec, will be presenting Incotec’s sustainable ‘work in progress’. The programme starts at 1pm on the grounds of Proeftuin Zwaagdijk and presentations will be in English.
On September 23, The hydroponics symposium includes the latest systems for cultivation on water.
The following day, ‘Next generation phenotyping in practice’ is organised by Proeftuin Zwaagdijk, Gitzels Breeding Services, Aris BV, Flier Systems and SeedTuning.
