Grounds Maintenance Contract

Tunbridge Wells Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced grounds maintenance contractors for the delivery of the grounds maintenance service within the borough.

The service consists of 5 main Parks, Play areas, Sports facilities, Woodlands and a range of other open spaces.

The contract is due to commence on 1st January 2011 for an initial period of 10 years with an option to extend for a further period of up to 5 years. The Council is looking to appoint a partner to deliver the service in the most financially advantageous way which meets the quality standards required.

The Council is committed to providing a high quality responsive service that protects, effectively manages and enhances our Parks and Open Spaces network, contributing to the quality of life in the borough. The appointed contractor will be expected to actively contribute to this vision.

The closing date for the return of fully completed questionnaires is 12 noon on 12th March 2010.

It is expected that successful applicants will be invited to tender in April /May 2010.
