Technopark to welcome visitors to Plantarium 2015

Plantarium 2015 has been arranged so visitors will enter the outdoor area of the Technopark as soon as they have registered at the registration desk, the organisers have said.

Fifteen stand holders will exhibit all the latest developments and innovations in technology and growing technology in the Technopark.

A more spacious layout means that stand holders will also be able to exhibit items that are too large for their stands, the organisers said. By moving the entrance area and the registration desk to the outdoor area, visitors will instantly be led past the items and technical items, where suppliers for the tree nursery sector at Plantarium 2015 will be presenting their range.

Machines and materials will be designed and demonstrated in this area, such as weed killer, securing systems, modes of transport and rootballing machines. Suppliers of fertilisers will also present test results for coated fertilisers.

Horticoop will be exhibiting an irrigation unit and spaying equipment, whilst Javo BV will be presenting a potting machine with a very long service life. Lommers Tuinbouwmachines will be attending with pruning and rootballing equipment, whilst Mercedes-Benz Alphen aan den Rijn will be exhibiting the latest commercial vehicles.

Various machines will also be exhibited, including pruning and weeding machines from Voets Tractoren en Werktuigen BV. For internal transportation, there’s Metazet Formflex VK-PRO’s small electric tractor.

Agrocultuur BV will exhibit Agricult's LVS cart, which makes it easy to kill weeds between rows and in the row safely, whilst Mantis ULV will be exhibiting its quad with ULV spraying screen. DLV Plant will be presenting its QMS® arboricultural model, the warning system for diseases and pests and optimal spraying time.

Floor van Schaik will be exhibiting growing shelves, a growing table and shelves for forklift truck transportation, whilst Haifa North West Europe will be presenting test results for coated fertilisers.

The FotoCCcar and a Wevab BV presentation table will also be there. HK Tuin and Potgrond will be exhibiting a big bale breaker and different types of soil. Magazine 'De Tuin in vier seizoenen' (The Garden in Four Seasons), together with SBPI, will be presenting a natural product that fights insects and fungi whilst serving as leaf feed at the same time.

The 33rd edition of Plantarium will be held from 26 to 29 August 2015 in the Plantarium building at the International Trade Centre Boskoop-Hazerswoude.

According To Edwards ... Changes large and small anticipated for UK producers

No one knows the changes that Brexit will impose on the UK over time. Some will surely be massive and they are already being guessed at. But there will be little changes too and some of those will ripple out over time to surprisingly large effect. I don't pretend to know what will happen, but it's fun to speculate.
