This Tanaka features a two-stroke engine with a stress-relieved, chrome-plated cylinder for longer life. It also comes fitted with an effective “sound reduction system”, said to reduce sound levels by up to 44 per cent — good for the user and for working on noise-sensitive sites.
“It does seem quiet — as blowers go — and it certainly gets through the work quickly,” says the tester. The power-to-weight ratio means he is getting through the work quickly and without tiring. “It’s a very nice piece of kit,” he adds.
For an item that is shared by both consumers and professionals, the THB-2510N is of tough construction.
We especially like the twist-lock system that ensures the blower tube is securely held in place. This blower also has a generous fuel tank.
