Student accommodation with public realm in Birmingham

The designers of this £20m residential development want to create a public realm that both makes maximum use of sunshine and encourages night-time use of communal areas.

Key landscape works will include the creation of a courtyard featuring groves of trees, seating, raised planters, native tree and shrub planting, tree uplighting, paving, timber decking and a low-maintenance rock garden. A green roof will also be built for sustainable urban drainage purposes.
