Rollins was with the Blue Diamond Garden Centre group for 12 years. He has relocated from the Channel Islands to take the role of Outdoor Plant Buyer Manager for the long-established Dorset-based horticultural business. In his teenage years he studied horticulture at the Sparsholt College near Winchester, before embarking on a varied career within horticultural retailing.

Some 11 per cent of the plants sold by the two Stewart centres will be cultivated at their nursery based at Broomhill near Wimborne.
