Squires appoints new manager

Squire's Garden Centres have appointed Ed Ridgeon as manager at their Woking centre.

He has been at Squire’s for six years – as assistant manager at both the Badshot Lea and Twickenham centres.  Prior to joining Squire’s, he was in the finance sector and before that he studied a Biological Sciences degree. He replaces Paul Young.

Deputy chairman Sarah Squire said: "We are very pleased to appoint Ed Ridgeon as Manager at our Woking centre. His experience in horticulture, as well as his retail and financial knowledge, will ensure that Squire’s in Woking continues to be successful, and offer a friendly shopping experience for local residents."

Squires spooky half term events are on 26-31 October. Children can paint a glow in the dark skeleton (£3.50) or pumpkin tea light holder (£5.50).  There are also free activities including a "Pumpkin Pursuit" around the garden centre and a "Spooky Spot The Difference".

Then Santa will be arriving at Squire’s in Woking on 28 November on a horse and carriage.
