Sports Turf Research Institute to launch new golf service at BTME

The Sports Turf Research Institute (STRI) is to launch a new programme to measure golf greens in an objective way at BTME Week 2010.

The STRI Programme is based on the results of a pilot study which worked with 86 golf clubs.

STRI claim the new programme improves the playing quality and consistency of performance on golf greens.

The full results and feedback from the pilot study and a launch of the new service will be unveiled on 19 January at BTME.
