Showcasing the horticulture sectors' finest

"As well as the great accolade of winning, and the fact that our customers can see how well we are doing, the awards really motivate our staff and give them tremendous affirmation that they are doing a great job."

These words from Ken Cox, one of the many highly deserving winners from the Horticulture Week awards programme in 2016, sum up very well the benefits of taking part in both the UK Grower Awards and the Garden Retail Awards, which are now open for entries for 2017.

They are echoed by many, not least John Thatcher after a double UK Grower Award win: "Winning gave a huge boost to our team and is a high accolade, demonstrating that the hard work that goes in is all worth it, especially when put under the spotlight and recognised in this way."

Even more, the two awards schemes that showcase the very best in the horticulture production and garden retail sectors can serve as a powerful tool to support business objectives - whether raising the profile of a new product or service offering for customers or simply encouraging success throughout the business.

What is it your customers care about most? Is it environmental credentials? Then enter, if you are in retail, the Greenest Garden Centre category in the Garden Retail Awards 2017. Or if you are in production, Best Environmental Initiative of the Year.

To help entrants to our 2017 awards reap the very best they can from their achievements, we have this year introduced Press Kit/Media Packs for both finalists and winners to use in their marketing and communication activities - activities that will be fully supported by our team too.
