The HTA has appointed Tanya Robinson as training and careers manager.
Phil Jones has been appointed as managing director of ISS Waterers Landscape, replacing Peter Fane. Jones is currently divisional director (operations) at ISS Waterers, where he has worked for 14 years.
John Deere has appointed Richard Charleton as product manager for the commercial, golf and turf equipment range. Charleton has been territory manager for Scotland and the north of England since 1996. Former John Deere management trainee Henry Bredin will fill Charleton s previous role.
Professor David Mabberley, author of the Plant Book, has been appointed as keeper of the herbarium at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Mabberley is currently director of the University of Washington Botanic Gardens in Seattle, US. He will take up his appointment in March.
Glenn Dack is the new general manager of Delamore, following the recent management buy-out by Wayne Eady. Dack has worked at Delamore for four years in a supervisory role, prior to which he worked for Darby Nursery Stock.

Adair Turner is the first chairman of the Committee on Climate Change, which will give independent advice on how the UK can meet climate change goals. Lord Turner is a former director general of the Confederation of British Industry and a director of Standard Chartered Bank.
