The Easi-Hybrid Living Wall, which the companies say is the first ever, has launched at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this week on the Easigrass stand. The stand was awarded a RHS Four Star Trade Stand Award this week for its dramatic display featuring a 6m-tall Easigrass giraffe and Easi-Bear sculptures, as well as the new wall system.
Scotscape managing director Angus Cunningham said: "We believe there is a gap in the market for this innovative product, particularly in places where it is not cost effective to install a traditional living wall. The Easi-Hybrid Living Wall is the perfect example of how artificial planting encourages green infrastructure and biophilia."
Easigrass managing director Anthony Gallagher said he was delighted to work with Cunningham and his team on the new venture.
"I believe that we will collectively further develop this wonderful system that embraces both real and artificial product - giving customers the best of both worlds."
