A Fresh Approach to School Landscapes is aimed at school governors and teachers, and provides a guide to making the most of school grounds, as well as tips on how to set about planning new landscape features to maximise any site's potential for outdoor learning.

It contains a foreword by David Attenborough and is available for £6.99 from the County Council's online shop.

The book was launched on 9 November at a celebration to mark the opening of the new outdoor landscape at Park Community School in Havant, where the council's landscape team have recently collaborated with the school community to design some innovative new outdoor spaces as part of a building project.
