The smallest model in the range - the 616CSV - is powered by a Briggs & Stratton electric-start petrol engine and will chip branches up to 10cm (4') in diameter. Its big brother, the 625CSV, has a 25hp engine and can handle material up to 14cm (5.5') in diameter.
Hedge trimmings, mown grass and other material can be sucked up using the vacuum hose. The machines can even cope with dense material or knotty and misshaped branches. Chipped and shredded material can be collected into bags or blown into a lorry or trailer.
Priced between £4,500 and £5,000 ex VAT depending on specification, the chipper-shredder-vacuums are available from Equipment Supply Services of West Glamorgan.
