Rosebourne has a ‘Fresh Approach’: a shop focusing 50 per cent on food and the other 50 per cent on green products and gifts.
It will include a farm shop, a butcher’s and a restaurant focussing on fresh produce. Food will be prepared on the spot and guests will be able to use table service. It will be housed in a separate part of the building with higher, arched ceilings.
The new chain is managed by a team including Jon Kitching, Charles Good and Neville Prest who have experience at Blooms of Bressingham, Garden and Leisure and Beckworth Emporium.
The Rosebourne team asked Thermoflor to interpret the principle of "value for your money" together with HPW Architects.
Bob Dalton, associate director of HPW, said: "Thermoflor have once again surpassed our expectations. The building totally 3,500 sq. metres was erected and watertight (barring external doors) within 8 weeks of starting on site in a very fast-track programme with the complete steel frame being erected in only 5 days! We enjoy working with Thermoflor’s team and look forward to our next project and our continued partnering working relationship."
