RHS online survey on beans

Beans are the UK's easiest and most rewarding vegetables to grow, according to the RHS online "Grow Your Own Veg" survey, which had more than 1,600 replies.

A quarter of respondents said beans were easiest to grow, and carrots were the most difficult vegetable. Last year's wet weather was the probable cause for general crop failures.
