Revamped website for Norman Collett

Fruit marketer Norman Collett unveiled a new-look website at the Fruit Focus show, described by company representative Sarah Calcutt as "an easy, open contemporary information portal".

The company also plans to do more with social media integrated with the site.

Meanwhile, Rubens apples, which Norman Collett markets, "are proving more weather-resilient than Cox and Braeburn".

Calcutt said: "We will have 10 per cent more than last year, rather than the 15 per cent we hoped for."

The show was also the first outing for Tasty Rubens, a promotional fruit costume that will visit retail outlets.
