Gardeners send a digital image to www.gardenhealth.com/plantrescue or a text or send a picture via MMS to 60300 starting their message with the word ‘RESCUE' and then a brief description of the problem and their postcode.
The service has been implemented to support Westland's new Plant Rescue range.
Westland Horticulture controls category product manager Naomi Jenkins said: "By following these simple steps, gardeners can be reassured they are providing the best growing care possible for their plants. A diagnostic service of this nature is a real first for the industry and will help make uncertainty and confusion surrounding plant pests and diseases a thing of the past. We hope the service will be a popular tool for garden centre staff as well."
Trained experts from Westland will aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours with diagnosis, explanations how to treat the problem and the nearest stockist for any product recommended.

we've offered such services free of charge to our customers for some time, but it makes sense for the product manufacturers to be able to offer this kind of service, not only is it a USP, but ensure westland product will be selected in preference to other brands.
