The City Plan will be the council's key planning document, providing a strategic vision for the city until 2030.

The winning consultant will help convene and manage design review panels to assess schemes prior to planning applications.

Developers submitting planning applications for major schemes will have access to support from the panel. The panel will scrutinise their applications in light of national and local planning policy and report back on how to improve their chances of success.

The supplier will also be responsible for running training days for key stakeholders and council staff.

The three-year contract is worth up to £400,000. Tenders are due by 30 November - further information and application details available here.
