Project lead: Landscape works including tree planting figure in vehicle dealership development

Soft and hard landscaping works including tree planting will be required as part of the £10m development of a new vehicle dealership.

Some trees will need to be removed from the 1.45ha site while others will be planted for screening, including Acer platanoides 'Emerald Queen', Acer campestre 'Streetwise', Prunus avium 'Plena', Prunus sargentii, Amelanchier lamarkii and Betula utilis jaquemontii.

Other planting will include Hedera helix 'Green Ripple', Photinia 'Red Robin', Pachysandra terminalis, Pyracantha coccinea 'Red Cushion', Prunus laurocerasus 'Zabeliana', Skimmia reevesiana, Viburnum x davidii and Viburnum tinus 'Eve Price'.

Permeable paving will also be laid where possible for SuDS purposes. The build is to be completed in 2017.
